Not sure what to say?

Rarely a day goes by that I don't think of Fred and miss hearing his voice and his irascible sense of humor. He was a good friend to me when I needed one, along with his partner John Dillmann, who is still my dearest friend after all these years.

Just thinking of Fred for some reason.

Bea, I am so sorry about your loss. Fred was a great man. I am sure it is hard but hang in there. Vicky Moreau Chen

Pascal Saladino wrote me about the sad news. I knew Fred when I worked for Coroner Dr. Frank Minyard and did research out of NOPD. He was one of the nicest guys I ever knew. So sad. - Karen Niklaus

Woody, We are very sorry about the loss of your father. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Sincerely, Logan Lewis and Family

Bea, I am so sorry to hear about Fred. What a wonderful man! I hope you and your family are hanging in there. I always enjoyed hearing about Fred when we worked together. Take Care.

Bea, Kelly and Family,
In life we meet few people who impress us with their kindness and gentleness. Fred was one of these people. He saved me in my first year at OLDP on Field Day...he knew all, I knew nothing and he smiled and led all day. What a Godsend. My prayers are with you.

To the Dantagnan Family,
Fred taught me so much when we worked together in Homicide. He was always the consummate professional, but had a wonderful sense of humor, especially when it was most needed. He treated me very well, even though I was the only female detective in the unit back then (there was only one before me). He was a great man, and he will be missed by many, many people. Thank you.

Billy, Linda & Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
