Fred De Lacy

Condolences to Mrs D, Fred, Perry, Sherri, Boog and Wilbur
You were a great coach, a sympathetic and down to earth guy and one of the world's good blokes. It is just amazing how many memories you have brought back from years ago.
You will be sorely missed.
Peter & Vicki Junk

We will miss you Fred standing on pool deck, knowing who was "pulling" on the rope in backstroke..who walked in the lane..or the various "jumpout sets"!

DE LACY Fred

Heartfelt sympathy to Win, Fred, Perry, Debra, Sherri, Wayne and families.
We have very fond memories of Fred and Wyn, who taught all 5 Nederpelt boys (and foster children) to swim and a life time love of the water.
Fred was a truly inspirational man who touched and inspired many hearts. He will always hold a very special place in our hearts.
From Cheryl, Rudy, Duncan, Warren, Michael, Jarrod and Travis.

Memories of happy and funny times spent at the Maylands and Inglewood pools. Somehow, Mr De Lacy managed to teach and coach all seven of us in swimming. He encouraged a love of swimming and water which continues to this day with all of us and our families. Sincere condolences to Mrs De Lacy and family. From the Rogers Family.

To the De Lacy family so sad to learn of your loss memories of care free days in the Swan river The Tyler family

Uncle Fred and Aunty Win: Polony and sauce sandwiches, Peters Pal ice creams, wet bathers and gross outside dunny! I don't think I have ever forgotten the ribbon in your hair Aunty Win. Win and Fred, you may not apprecriate what you have done for us. My memories of you guys are so special xxxx

Fondly remembered swim coach- inspirational and motivational leader. Especially at Christmas times when all the kids helped give him a Baptism of Water (by pushing him into the pool)! I turned toward swimming teaching and disability support, to follow his upstanding example.
Condolences to Mrs de and all of Fred's amazing family.
From Linda Leone.

de L acy ( Frederick):
A mentor, coach, teacher and friend. We have fond memories of the 6am Garratt Rd to Maylands bath's swim and BBQ after. Thank you for the swim races in the river, morning training, club nights, the advice, bush walks, the horses and the life-long gift of swimming. Mark, Shane, Tracey, Jason, Heather and Roger Sleight.
Thanks for the memories Fred. Condolences to Mrs D and the family.

DE LACY ( Frederick):
We would like to express our heartfelt sympathy to the de Lacy family over the passing of Fred de Lacy. Fred had an amazing ability to identify swimmers from a very young age, nurturing their skills and their belief in them to produce athletes they can be. We're sure that you will continue to watch over them, the Rogers family.
