Your kindness through sharing your wisdom n knowledge will be Treasured a lifetime.

Fred was one of the kindest and most down to earth people I have ever had the pleasure to know. Everytime I saw him in Fort Lauderdale, he want out of his way to be kind and used to joke with me about reading my mind or telling my fortune. His smile and story were so inspirational. Fred always had class and was a true gentleman. He never even displayed his ego or success, so respected and is missed.

I too was saddened to hear that SUBWAY lost their best friend.
I was first commissioned to paint a SUBWAY sign to be put on the grounds of the corporate office along the Milford Harbor. Then Fred asked if I would like to be secretary to Marketing with Dick Pilchen and I was now part of the family. His Mother was receptionist. I also was his secretary at times.

To the Deluca family, In deep regards I send my prayers and good wishes to all of you. I found out yesterday Oct. 13,2015 whiling visiting a local Subway in southern California of Fred's passing. Our sincere condolences to the Deluca family, friends and colleagues. May you find comfort in the words of the greatest man who ever lived: "43When he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice: Lazarus, come out! 44The man who had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them: Free him and let him go.

My condolence to the Family, God will wipe the tears of sorrow from your eyes and eliminate death forever, that is his promise and he never lies.

I knew Fred when I attended the University of Bridgeport in the 70's and he was one of the nicest people I have ever met. Myself, and many of our classmates didn't just enjoy the great sandwiches he made but really enjoyed seeing him there especially when we were having a bad day he could always make you smile. Rest in peace my friend, you will be sorely missed by everyone who had the good fortune to meet you. My condolences to all of Fred,s family and friends.
