Fred was one of us kids who grew up together in the neighborhood, schools and playgrounds in East Springfield. As a kid he was always known as "Ricky". Always a fine young lad. In our teen years and later on as adults, Fred was always a good guy - a good friend. It was always a pleasure to see him at our yearly November buddy reunions near Page Boulevard. He was a legend for sure, he wont be forgotten. Rest in Peace Fred, you had a good life.
