Not sure what to say?

I am just hearing of Fred's transitioning. I moved away from the DMV years ago and was missing him at the Edsall Road Bowl America Saturday Night league when I visit. I searched this on a hunch and was saddened by what I am now reading. Fred was a great person who inspired me on so many occasions as a Black man, husband, dad, granddad and a true friend. Hey man, my heart aches but rest in peace, soldier. God speed.

I had the pleasure of meeting Fred in the context of pitching
horseshoes and loved his humor, especially when we were on the same
team. While he threw ringers, I threw scuds and duds, but his humor
and encouragement taught me what a truly special man he was.
It was an honor for me to attend his touching funeral and experience
all the tributes paid to him. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his
family and friends.

To the Diggs Family: My deepest condolences and prayers to you and your family. May God's loving kindness comfort you and help you through this difficult time. I will miss seeing your Father outside in his yard or just walking around his home. May your parents Rest In Peace.

Fred took the news of his illness with bravery and a renewed joy for life. He was a friend of mine who always gave sage advice. When I couldn't reach him, I googled his name -- associated with Primerica -- and his Obituary appeared. I was shocked, saddened, and then okay because I remember our last chat a few weeks ago. He told me he was ready, but he had something to finish "today." Every day, he tried to check off something from his list, "You know, just in case,"...

To Fred's children:Words can't begin to express the degree of symphony I extend to you at this difficult time.Your father was a notorious joker.Once he said to me "before you retired you were at the top of the game in knowledge, but since you retired you are forgetting everything. Don't worry it will only get worst".We had a big laugh, guess what! He was absolutely right.Your father was a carbon copy of my brother, both with military backgrounds.Remember the good times you shared and know he...

Everyday i look over to his driveway and see his car but i don't see fred. I guess i got use to seeing him! He's in a better place may he rest in peace! May god bless his family.

WE ARE SORRY TO HERE ABOUT OUR BE LOVE CO-WORKER AND FRIEND AT GIANT FOOD OF MD..HE WILL BE MISS.R.I.P..

Lesa, Maryann, Bip and Tee - may God's love surround you all in the loss of your dear Dad. He is truly missed!

To the Diggs Family,
Fred was my dearest friend, he was special to me, but God saw him getting tired, a cure not meant to be, so He put his arms around him and whispered Come with me. He will be missed. To the family, embrace one another and know that he is resting peacefully.
