Not sure what to say?

Mr Ellicott was my drafting and CAD teacher in the late 80s. I had many classes with him. He taught me well as I went on to be a lead engineer at Chrysler for many years. What a great guy that motivated you to do great things!

I just heard of Mr. Ellicott's passing and my heart goes out to his wife and family with my prayers and condolences. I knew Fred from my time as a welding student of his, at Schoolcraft College in 1978 when I came home after my tour in the Marines during the Vietnam War. He was a fantastic welding teacher and a friend to all his students. I just heard about Fred's passing. I am so sorry to hear this. Our families had a lot of fun over the years. He's probably hanging with my dad now ❤.

And after he retired, he attended an almost uncountable number of activities in which his grandchildren were participants. He...

What I'll remember most about Fred is his devotion to his family. When you sat down to talk to Fred, the conversation quickly turned to his children when he was young, his grandchildren in the late middle years, and finally his great grandchildren. After retirement, he attended an almost uncountable number of events in which his grandchildren were participants. He even watched many sporting events of his nephews (my grandchildren). He was a wonderful family man.

Such a very good man with a wonderful family. I send you my love. Susan Nordlinger

I remember Mr. Ellicott (Fred) and his moustache from a lifetime ago. Never a dull moment at the Ellicott's house cutting up, hanging out with Kim and her parents. My heart goes out to you and your family. God bless you. Cherish the memories.
