You were always one of my favorite teachers. I remember our Biology class and the discussion we had concerning fish emitting bubbles. Funny things you remember. You were also a good friend to my father. Rest in Peace.

RIP. He was my swim coach when I started SW as a young 16 yr old. He drove me to practice from school to the pool and was quite the gentleman. RIP and may peace be with your family at this very lonely time. I pray that your memory stays fresh on their hearts for all time. Sincerely, Lorelei Branam Bennett

I missed coach Ellis' funeral. He was a great role model for those who grew up with out a father. He influenced my thinking in never to give up, no matter how hard it gets. As he used to say, "Mud,Flood or Blood". Class of 85 Track Team SW Senior High - Alfonso Ayon.

I knew coach ellis as a fair and tuff man. I worked as the Teams equipment manager and assistant trainer for three years at SW high so I worked closely with the coach. I am sad to learn of his passing last year and Glad he had happy days in his life. He was a good man
