Not sure what to say?

I was a classmate of Fred´s at Woodlands High School in Hartsdale, NY. That he was so successful in life is no surprise to me. I am so sorry that his last years were so challenging. My condolences to the Fico family. Jeff Melman

Fred was a wonderful teacher who knew how to motivate students to live up to his high standards. I was lucky to have him on my dissertation committee. I always enjoyed talking to him. His devotion to Beverly, and to Benjamin and Faith, was exceptional. I will miss him.

I knew right away "your way or the highway " but I abided. I have such wonderful memories of Uncle Fred taking the bus on the weekends from NYC to stay with us. As a young child I remember him reading my parents encyclopedias and talking to me about what he read. He was a kind and wonderful person. Uncle Fred rest in peace

Fred was a unique person, student and colleague. Even though life was unkind, he remained positive and hard working. I'm truly sorry that he had to spend his last years dealing with the effects of his stroke, but I'm glad I got to know him as a doctoral student and colleague.

I'm so grateful that we had fun family times together. Uncle Fred was thoughtful and inspirational. H will be much missed.

Will miss and always love ya - Ralph
