Not sure what to say?

Hi Dad,
It's been a little over three weeks since you took those last few soft breaths and I said my final "Goodbye, Dad". I would like to say, though, a belated but heartfelt "Thanks". Thank you for giving me my first novel, "Three Men in a Boat (To Say Nothing of the Dog)" by Jerome K. Jerome. From it, I developed my sense of humour and appreciation for the absurd. Thank you for sharing your experiences in East Africa; my love of travel and thirst for knowledge of peoples, places and...

There are many memories living next door for all those years. Growing up, it was Uncle Fred and Aunt Doreen. Come over for a home brew with my father; playing cards with my parents on a Friday nite. And those parties!! The ones we weren't allowed to go to. Got my first insurance policy from Michael's dad. All of us getting yelled at for the noise and whateever we made in the basement. Chokes me up, really. Well, I wish I had been there during those last days in BC. Daniel

Dearest Fred
You are in our hearts and thoughts forever.Love always,
Anne.

You were, and will always remain, one of the most inspiring, interesting, and couragious role models in my life. I will try and live everyday of my life as fiercely as you did!

Rest in Peace Grandpa.

~Laurie~

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Cherish the many memories. I have many fond memories of your dad.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
