Frederick Laverne Fox, age 78, of Frankenmuth passed away peacefully at home Monday, November 29, 2021. He was born on October 1, 1943, in Adrian, Michigan.


He graduated from Adrian High School (1962), Siena Heights University (1973), and Michigan State University (1995). He was a classroom and driver education teacher in Birmingham, MI, Berkley, MI, and Frankenmuth, MI.


He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse Fae (Parlette) and Otis Fox, brother, Hugh Fox, and sisters Phyllis Driggs and Patricia Meyers. Fred is survived by his wife Carol Fox, in-laws Paul and Marcia Rau, Mark Hrit, and many nieces and nephews.


Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 958 E. Tuscola Rd., Frankenmuth, Michigan. Fr. Patrick Jankowiak will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date in Blessed Trinity Cemetery.


Fred’s family will receive visitors at church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. A luncheon following the service will be held in the Blessed Trinity Parish Hall. All are welcome to join the family for lunch. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Blessed Trinity Catholic Church or Wellspring Hospice of Frankenmuth.
