My deepest condolences to the Serena family. My personal contact w/Fred was not that frequent, however, our shared life experiences brought he & I close. Our love for the competitive softball competition made this friendship very unique. Always, will remember our competiveness during "City of SA Sports Week", which he was very instrumental in it´s supportive foundation. He will never be forgotten as a fine human being & especially a "Gentleman", always being respectful toward everyone. My...

I remember the days when we were growing up as kids and played baseball in the old neighborhood. He will be missed at our monthly breakfast gatherings. Beautiful rosary last night. Rest in peace my friend. God bless.

My Dearest Fred how Blessed I was to have had you part of my life. Working at Fleet Operations and having you not only as a Supervisor but as a Father figure and friend...so many memories and laughter shared among us all. I will cherish your DJ years, the calls and texts that continued throughout the years after COSA on holidays and Fathers Day and mostly your kindness and gentle ways. Family and friends sorry for your loss.
I worked with the City of San
Antonio/Automotive Operations and Fred was my Supervisor. I remember him as a good, nice and very knowledgeable person and I enjoyed working with him. We shared many memorable moments and I will cherish the good times we had with co workers during and after work.
God Bless his soul and May he Rest In Peace
