Clymer Funeral Home Cremations - Palm Coast Obituary

In Loving Memory of Fred C. Sherman, Jr. of Palm Coast, FL.

It is with great sadness that we announce that Fred received his wings, at the age of 57 on 5/22/23. He was born in Norwood, Massachusetts, on May 3rd,1966. Fred attended school in Cape Cod, MA where he was a drummer in the Bourne High School Band. He graduated in 1985. Fred moved to Florida in 1997 to be closer to his family.  He enjoyed being employed as a Flagler County custodial coordinator.

Fred enjoyed fishing, listening to music, especially Phil Collins and playing with his dog Jackson. He was an avid Boston sports fan, particularly the New England Patriots.

Most important to Freddy, was his family. Traveling brought him joy, as did a good cup of coffee. Simple things made him happy. He was a grateful, loving, funny man, who was appreciated by all who knew him. He will be dearly missed.

Fred is preceded in death by his loving older sister, Diane Ellis, and his grandparents.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Shani Sherman; daughter, Ellen Sherman; son, Austin Brammer; parents, Fred Sr. and Phyllis Sherman of Palm Coast, FL; sister, Patty (Henry) Quattromini of Wake Forest, NC; brother-in-law, Mark Ellis of Franklin, MA; brother and sister-in-law, Tom (Erika) Brammer; nieces; nephews; other family, and friends.

"Fred, may a flight of Angels, sing ye to thy rest."

A celebration of Fred's life is being planned and details will be announced soon.

Many fond childhood memories

Fred,my short time here I did not get to meet you but I feel like I knew you because of the kindness shown to me by your Mom and Dad. I pray because of your love for your Family during this time of grief they feel a peace and joy from God that we can't even imagine.

My heart is broken for all that you and your family are going through. Sending prayers of comfort and Christ’s love to rain down on you. With our love, Sharon and Walter Twyman

May a lifetime of memories bring comfort at this time. Fred will be missed (especially during football season!).
