Fred, you were a special, loving brother-in-law. I will miss your smiling face and awesome jokes. I could always count on you. You told me about a favorite song of yours, "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica. Great song. Love Foo, Foo.

Cassandra, Elizabeth, and Freddie; I really enjoyed listening to the stories that Fred told around the kitchen table and his wonderful laugh! Hugs to all of you.

Fred was a wonderful person who valued family, country, and the lessons of history. I so enjoyed seeing Fred and his wonderful wife, Cassandra, in period dress reenacting history and making it come alive. We send our prayers and love.

Dearest Cassandra, Elizabeth and Freddie, I'm so sorry for the pain and loss you are feeling. Fred was a wonderful example of kindness to people and animals. We all have so many memories of how he helped and rescued sick and hurt animals. Any time I look around my house, I can see something that Fred repaired, replaced or installed for me after Hurricane Katrina. He was that kind of guy, using his talents to help others. My most heartfelt condolences to you and his brothers.
