Frederick K. Grossman

Uncle Fred was one of the greatest men I knew. Always so caring and thoughtful of others, especially my Aunt Linda. I will always cherish the memories that I have of going to New York and spending lots of quality time with him. My only wish would be that my son would have been able to actually spend that kind of time with him. The stories won't be enough to really express and emphasize just the type of man he was. For that would be something he would need to experience for himself. I am happy...

I was very sad to hear about the passing of Mr. Grossman. For six years of junior and senior high school, I always had eighth period (the last class of the day) to look forward to...Band. He was not only a great teacher, he was also a good friend...a rare combination to achieve. He will be truely missed not only by myself, but also by my sisters, cousins, friends and all who had the good fortune of learning the joys of music with him.
