I came to work in State Purchasing after Bunk retired. I had great pleasure getting to know Bunk. He would visit or call State Purchasing to make sure we were all working. He always made me smile and laugh when I spoke with him. Prayers go out to his family & friends.

Bunk and my grandfather (Rev Earl L Ivey) were long time friends. What a fun loving man he was. He could make my grandfather laugh until he cried. Before my grandfathers death, last September, Bunk was on his mind. Lisa, you really touched my grandfathers heart with your kind words. Today my grandfathers not missing his friend, they are shouting in heaven. I'm so sorry for your loss and y'all are in the Ivey families prayers.

I met Bunk when I began working at State Purchasing. I was a new Buyer and he took me under his wing and taught me so much about purchasing. I was forever grateful. He will be missed.
