Not sure what to say?

Fred hired me straight out of college in 1983 to be the new IT guy at Sonneveldt(Ameriserv). I liked him from the first day I met him.

I'll always remember his quick smile, easy going demeanor and those bear-like paws! He smothered my poor little hand with each and every handshake. :)

My condolences to the family. I'm sure he will be missed.

Miss Ya

Love Wendy

I have had the privilege of three great mentors. The first taught me to love unconditionally, the second how to work hard and to completion and Fred. Fred taught me another spiritual lesson, always leave things in better shape than I found or was given. I will always be grateful for this lesson.

So sorry for your loss. I have a lot of memories with your family from the blythefield days. Our parents enjoyed spending time together.

what a great friend and neighbor....wonderful coach, made sure every kid played.... fun to be with, lucky to have such a tolerant wife. We will miss you Freddy....

Fred, I will miss your quick wit and smile. Thank you for being a great friend to Berger (my father). Many hours in the little house they spent together, and Fred, you always made sure things were 'right'. I am very thankful for my pergola that you and dad built for me. A big smile comes across my face every time I look out my window onto it. You have been a great neighbor/helper to my parents. God Bless You. Cyndi Soderberg

Dear Hallstedt Family,

Your father was such a wonderful man! Always so positive and supportive. I will always remember his dedication to you guys while we were all in high school. He was your number one fan. Your dad was a friend to all who knew him. May he rest in Peace as he is reunited with your beautiful mom.
