Sorry to hear about Fr. Fred. We didn't know. He will be missed. He was part our family for a long time.

I'm so sorry to hear about Fr. Fred. My family loved him every much. He will missed every much.

Fr. Heberle set the example all priests should follow- a true role model with a kind word and smile for everyone he met. I remember him from my Sacred Heart School and Folk Group days. Godspeed.

Father Heberle was not only a great priest but a wonderful man. He made time for people. I will always remember him coming from Sheffield to Palmer to perform both of my parents funeral masses. They both died in the winter. My dad's services were after an exceptionally large snow storm. Father Heberle still made the trip for both the wake and the funeral. Whenever we went to visit him in Sheffield, he always made time to sit and talk.
He will be greatly missed by many.
Rest in peace.

I remember Father Heberle well and fondly. I grew up on Hungry Hill and he was an important part of the "village". that raised me. I was one of his alter boys and I alwys got in his line for condession on Saturday

As a another Hungry Hiller, I knew Fr. Heberle when he was assigned to Our Lady of Hope after his Ordination.

I was the first Public School Alter Server at that time. He helped with my Latin. I visited him in Palmer after he left Our Lady of Hope.

We lost one of the good ones this week.
May he be welcomed into the kingdom of heaven.
