Not sure what to say?

it's march still remember those spring indoor practices with all my ubermensches.....blessed with a ubermensch.....coach.....

Truly a legend. I´m glad I crossed paths with him.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Played for coach for 3 yrs. learned a lot from him ......great memories....he was a blessing to me and others..... thanks coach

Mr. Heinlein was my Sunday School teacher at Plymouth Church for a year or two. I still remember and often convey to others the life lessons in those classes.

I knew coach Heinlein when I was 7 8 and 9 years old at Camp Broadstone in Valle crucis North Carolina... at that young age he had an influence on me... He was a fine man... Intuition Rod I say hello... you had a great father who was a great man young boys eyes!

I'm trying to say Hello to Zip Zednick. He must be in his 80's by now. Any info? [email protected] Thanx.

HECK OF A BALL PLAY!!!!...was the call from the sideline after spearing a line drive or a diving outfield catch.

I still think almost daily of the summer days at baseball camp coached by none other than Coach Heinlein 1970-1972. I never got that great at baseball but I did get great at playing the game of life because of you and your impression on me to always strive to be the best that you can be.

That's what I learned all those summers ago.

With Deepest Condolences To the Heinlen Family: Coach Heinlein was very good to me for the 4 years that I delivered his Plain Dealer and was his batboy for his Shaker High baseball teams, including the 1976 State Champs! He said and did many things that I remember very well to this day including all the maintenance of the baseball field, the endless laps around the track and his attendance at my high school graduation in 1983. I also treasure the several typed letters that I was lucky...

Coach was my life mentor, a coach in every sense of the word. He taught us all so much about sports and life. What was best, was being able to stay in touch after my playing and coaching days were over and listen to Coach H talk about so many topics.

Coach is one of the best human beings I've ever had the privelege to meet. I am proud to have played for the best man in the profession.
