I was in the hospital, when I heard of Fred's passing. When I joined the Police Department, he'd tell me little things to get me through. He was my friend/// no strike that, MY Brother. That is what we called ourselves. Brothers. He told me I could trust my brothers and I trusted him.. He always had words of wisdom, for me to chew on. lol He told me that is how we all grow, to be the best..and that no matter how you may be attacked stand firm in your beliefs and in the end, you will stand....

To Jean and family. I am sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God keep you in His Peace. Roberta Larosch

He was always there if anyone needed him, and would do anything he possibly could for you. Of course the best thing about Fred was how he could always make you laugh, and I don't remember ever seeing him without a smile on his face. To his family, know that he will be missed by many who knew him, and that he will always be with you in your hearts and...

My deepest condolences to Freddie's wife, children, and Margie and Vickie. I miss Freddie and Sonny very much. John Gilbert and Patsy Mortimer

To the Hill family, Fred will be sadly missed by all that knew him. I'm proud to say that I worked with Fred as a policeman for Salem City. He brought a lot of fun to the job. Frank Crumb

To Jean and all his family, I am so very sorry for your loss. What I remember of him is how much he loved to have fun. He was a great inspiration to so many. With his encouragement, we learned to love the game of golf. I know he loved his family and was proud of his heritage. He was a generous man to so many and I will mis his laughter. May he now find the rest and comfort being with his family who passed before him. To those he left behind, may you find comfort in the many fond...
