Not sure what to say?

Fred was a wonderful person. While we didn't know him well, it was easy to see he cared about people. Many years ago we were 4 young women and a dog living on Schiller Park, which had its share of problems. Somehow Officer Fred knew to always let us know what was happening in our neighborhood (as well as my cousins down the street)- stay inside, don't worry etc. It gave us all great peace of mind knowing a cop like Fred was watching out for us! Always with a smile and a joke too. He'll be...

It has been many years since our high school days and I am glad I have been able to catch up with Fred via Facebook. We had lots of good times back then, always fond memories. My sincere sympathy to his family. A great guy. I will miss him.

We will miss Fred and his love for Godzilla. He took our sons to see the Godzilla movie and they had so much fun. I remember when Fred bought our sone a Godzilla , Batman and Spiderman fishing pole. They had so much fun. He was a kind and generous man. Something you don't see often enough. We are sorry for your loss and Fred will always be remembered in our hearts. Take care. Vince, Sherri, Dominick ,Angelo and Anthony Lumia.

Prayers of comfort for all. My husband and I met Fred when we bought our car from him a year ago. He was a very sweet man. Again, prayers for all.

My condolences & deepest sympathy to the family of Fred. He will be missed. I was so impressed by his determination to know when to fight & his courage to know when to say enough. It takes a strong, brave man to be able to do that. Frank & I had met him when I convinced my husband to switch from buying Cadillacs & go to Fords like I always had. Freddie went from being just our salesman to being considered a friend & not only did we buy every vehicle for both of us from him from then on but we...

Sincere condolences to the entire Kilian family.. Fred and I have been friends for well over fifty years from Kris's Auto shop, years would go by when we hadn't seen each other, but when we did we picked up where we last left off...Truly a genuine and good man. Sincere Sympathy, Wyamon Brown

You will be missed by many, RIP, my good friend. I´ll never forget that big smile.
