Frederick William "Fred" Kreye

Some years back my brother "Fredy" did something really special, we siblings got together in Denmark and then drove to beautiful Norway to meet Irmgard's and Johann's family, we were impressed and grateful to share together--great occasion never to be forgotten!

I remember last time I saw uncle Fred, he visitet us in Bergen with uncle Eric. It was amazing how much he reminded me of his father Wihelm. I shared a Spanish brandy with him, and he said "this is good stuff" with his unmistakable German accent. He even had the same limp due to recent knee surgery. I will miss his nice an frequent notes to me on Facebook (If you hear this uncle, I still have the "Go Blue" cap you gave me)

Fred was a dear and warm friend for over 50 years. His happy smile and jolly laughter brings smile to our faces when ever we remember him. We miss him.

I am so sorry for your loss I remember Fred as a warm, kind and a very funny man. He came to Norway to visit us, both at our home and our cottage. There he and Eric shared stories and jokes with me, mom, my grandmother Irmgard and grandfather Johan. Dad was away at work and my sister away for school, so we filmed some of their visit to show them later. Now this are good memories we can watch again and again Rest in peace, Fred
