Frederick Latham Obituary
Fred was an U.S. Army veteran and proudly served during the Korean War. He owned and operated Latham's Sawmill for many decades providing the local communities with post and beam materials and rough cut lumber. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.
Fred leaves his wife of 68 years, Shirley. His family includes daughters, Judy Latham Matheson and her husband John, Jayne Benson of Colebrook, N.H., Joan Latham (deceased); his grandchildren, Gregory Alden II and his wife Stormi; and great-granddaughter Sadie Alden; and Frederick L. Billings (deceased), Elizabeth Benson, Katharine Benson, William Benson (deceased), and Jessica Billings; his sister Nancy Padegenis (deceased); brother-in-law Raymond Padegenis; and several nieces and nephews which include Fred Hull and Kathy Padegenis.
He will be greatly missed. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Camp Fund at Salem Congregational Church.

A great man ! Son, Husband, Father, Grandfather and friend.
Living 91 years witnessing decades of a changing world. Sharing his knowledge of life and survival. Iam proud and fortunate to be his daughter.
Memories I can share and a few I shouldn't those are the ones that make me smile & laugh. We had few close calls Dad.. Thank you God for giving me the best father ever !
