Not sure what to say?

I knew Fred in the 1970s at Gould Inc. I loved his sense of humor, and he helped me move into my first house in Douth Euclid. I wonder if Fred would have remembered me these years later, but I much appreciated him as a friend and a conversationalist. Please accept my sympathy at this late date.

I cannot believe it has been two years already! I think about Fred all the time!!!

Rosie, I'm very sorry to see that Fred passed. I met him at Roosevelt school playground while in high school. Very enjoyable talking to him. Both of us loved cars. When at the store one day, Fred called & you asked me to come to the loading dock. Fred & I talked about his mid-70' Oldsmobile Cutlass. Could have talked for hours. We were car guys! He was a great guy with a wonderful sense of humor! I'm praying for you & your son.

I am so very sorry for your loss Lazar Family( as I was out of town, and was just told about Fred). I meant Fred at the old Scandinavian/Ballys, he always used to make fun of me( jokingly for years, it was him), I would always roll with it...then a short time later, I remember one day he said " Stevie, you are alright in my book ! "...I replied, "Thanks Fred, you can call me Steve or Stephen though"...20+ years later at the gym he was still calling me "Stevie"...lol...Most recently I...

THIS HAS BEEN SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT TO HEAR THAT MY FRIEND FRED LAZAR HAD DIED. I HAVE KNOW FRED FOR 35 YEARS. WE WERE WORKOUT BUDDIES AT THE GYM AND RAN OUTSIDE WHEN WE WERE ALOT YOUNGER! FRED AND I WOULD DRIVE UP TO DETROIT AUTO SHOW FOR THE LOVE OF THE AUTOMOBILE. LET ME CORRECT MYSELF! I DROVE !!HAHA! I MUST TELL YOU THAT FRED AND I ENJOYED TALKING ABOUT SEINFIELD RERUNS. WE LAUGHED SO HARD IT WOULD BRING ME TO TEARS!WE WOULD TALK ABOUT OUR FAMILIES AND HE WOULD ALWAYS HAVE A KIND WORD...

Uncle Fred had a great life that was earned through hard work and devotion. He grew a prosperous business and strong family while remaining humble and dedicated. Most importantly, my uncle Fred was a great role model for me, a demanding but loving father for Tommy, and he was completely devoted to my aunt Rosie. He leaves behind lots of great memories and a legacy to be proud of. I´m grateful for the trips to the gym in his red Oldsmobile convertible and I will always admire, and do my...

Coach, I cannot believe that so young you were taken from this world. It saddens me deeply that you are no longer with us. From the baseball diamond, watching WWF Wrestle Mania at your house, a three day internship at ML Grinding (don´t think Tommy and I broke anything), and all the memories in between. It was so great to catch up with you last Summer and wish we could do it again. Watch over Tommy and Mrs. Lazar. Rest in Peace.

Very hard to believe that Fred is no longer here. We knew each other since freshman year at Joe´s. We would lift weights in his basement and he would always motivate you and say you can do one more, push it. I still remember the day he stopped over and my dad(he´s from the old country) had a pot on the stove top. He looked at me asking what is that smell. My dad lifted the lid and staring us in the face was a pigs head. We both flipped out. We would converse almost daily on the phone, and we...

Rose and Tommy I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember my good friend and neighbor for all of the good times we had. Especially decorating each others yards before and after Cowboys-Packers games. Fred was always there whenever you needed help with anything. I am lucky to have known him.
