Mr. Lippitt was a short term resident where I am employed. He was a very nice man and I really liked him alot. He was very kind, willing, and appreciative, and always had a kind word to say and a smile to give. My thoughts and prayers go out to his sister Mary Ann, friends and caregivers. I hope the many memories you have created will be of comfort to you.

I have fond memories for the short time I knew Fred. During one of his runs for Mayor of Providence, I remember dropping off leaflets one Saturday in a neighborhood near Roger Williams Hospital. He was a great man in a great City and a true friend to many. It's always tough to see a community leader such as Mr. Lippitt pass on.

I want to extend my deepest sympathy to the Lippitt Family on their loss. I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Lippitt when he was Director of the Dept. of Administration for the State of Rhode Island. His passing is a great loss to the citizens of Rhode Island.
