Penelope and Family,

My sincere condolences upon Fritz's passing. He had many good qualities about him; the obituary states it well. I am glad to have known him. And no one could ever look as stylish in wooden clogs!

I stand corrected, I often mix up. Martha's vineyard where April lived with. Vinal Haven as I have friends in both places. I can u,understand the draw to the islands of Maine and the peace you surely loved and fostered there. Love ya.

Ah Fritz, you have been on my mind. I sorted old correspondence recently and found letters from you from decades ago. Funny that you ended up on the Vineyard, as April too lived there for many years. I will always remember that summer in Nova Scotia, at Camp Discovery fondly and you are one of those bittersweet memories of that summer. May your memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved your quirky ways and unusual joie de vie.
