Not sure what to say?

Still one of the funniest dry humor guy I knew.

Hard to believe hes been gone for 5 years. Miss his humor and sarcasm. RIP Derf!

So sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers with you all during this most difficult time!

Rick, Kris & Drew Trygstad (Karin's sister)

I have find memories of all. Thinking of you and sending peaceful thoughts.

Ted was a great guy and one of the only Crystal Lake residents that did not yell at me. Cathy does yell at me, but that is ok. Ted, enjoy the lake you are at now. No worries and just free time.
Chins up - Ted is fine - just pontooning in a larger lake with friends.

Tom and Lesa Redd, Crystal Lake Weed Guy

About 30 years ago I met Ted/Fred and family at the annual Crystal Lake Picnic. Over the years, we shared a mutual love and respect for Crystal Lake, real estate development, John Deere Gators and much more. My thoughts are with the entire McDonald Family during this difficult time.

Joan, Curtis, Chris, Cathy, Craig and families...I am so saddened to hear of the loss of Ted. I've got very early fond memories of time spent with all of you! And will never forget the baked bean on the porch ;-) They broke the mold with Ted for sure! Know you will remain in my prayers. Wish I could be there tomorrow, but I have to work. Will say some extra prayers during the service time. Hugs and love to you all!

John and I are so very sorry for the whole extended McDonald family on the loss of Ted. Our deepest condolences to you at this time. You are in our prayers.

I have always loved "Uncle Ted". His zest for life, humor, and too many kindnesses to mention have helped guide me in life, including it's okay to cheat at Liverpool. Love you, man! The rest of us will carry on, best we can.
