Just wanted to publicly explain how the name of McLean is respected when connected to Euclid Shore High School, The Ohio State University or the sport of wrestling in Ohio. Don McLean was a couple of years older when I attended Shore but Fred was only a year ahead of me. I wrestled at Shore in the Eckert years and at Ohio State in my Freshman year of 1949-50. Scott, I'm saddened to learn of your dad's passing. I always enjoyed the meetings with him and my dad to discuss pavers and all. I'll never forget because he was a great person.
