Not sure what to say?

Shocked to read this obituary after so long. I was married to his brother, Louis. Went to a family reunion at Fred's house one year and found him to be the nicest person.

I grew up with the Milton Family on Fisher Street in Pontiac. Fred was like a big brother. My sincere sympathy is with the Milton Family.

I only hope that the Family gets to read this. I was approached by Fred. in early 1980's. He was teaching the Junior Class @ Allen Chapel AME Church., He came to me and said he was heavily involved in a case, and wanted me to take his class, I did, That brought me closer to Fred and to serving God. Thank you Fred, for all that you gave to me and so many others that I personally know about, but not many know of the acts of kindness that you showed in private. Rest in Peace, Sorry for all the...

Fred Milton was one of the absolute best defense attorneys in Kalamazoo County. What made him great was his ability to see through the issues and directly relate to the jury. I can remember one such trial, after Fred finished cross examing the police officer, the Officer raised his hands in complete frustration and answered he wasn't sure if Fred's client was the person he saw commit the crime. After any trial, we would shake each others hand, compliment one another on our trial strategies...

Over the years I have talked with Fred on many occasions, and every time our conversation would end, he would say to me, "Walter, I love you." Today, I want to say: "Fred, thank you for the love you shared with me and my family, and thanks for the memories." Pat, thank you for the love you gave my nephew. You're truly 'one in a million', and I love you.

-Wishing you God's blessing Forever

My deepest condolences to Pat and the family. Fred was a top notch person and one of the best attorney's that I have ever met. Thank you, Fred for all the advise you gave me. May you find comfort in knowing that Fred is with our Lord. My prayers are with you and your family during this troubling time.

Fred was one hell of a guy. Filled up a room immediately with his smile and positive, outgoing personality. Made everyone around him feel good. Fought some tough battles with him in court but it was never personal. Will never forget him.

My Family and myself will miss Fred very much! He was part of our family while I grew up. Rest in peace, and know that you will never be forgotten!
