Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the family and friends of Fritz. I had the pleasure of being one of his students at Purdue. He had a way of teaching that made us feel like we were not in class but just hanging out talking about our industry. And what do you know, when you walked out the door some of it stuck. What a guy. He will be missed.

Sorry to hear bout Fritz's passing. Fritz was a great professor and teacher. He made our transitions from students to the real world a breeze. I'll always remember his humor and tool box full of construction matchbox toys.

I'm sorry to hear of your great loss. I went to school with his son John, and got to know him first as a father. He would invite us out to the farm and we would play soft ball in the pasture using cow pies for bases.

I later got to know him a him a professor at Purdue. His quick wit and infectious laugh made him a favorite teacher to many students. I can hear his voice now quoting James Whitcomb Riley's poem "When the frost is on the pumpkin".

Philippians 4:7
"And the peace...

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Fritz was one of my favorite professors during my time at Purdue. He was a very likeable guy, who made it very easy to enjoy learning in his class. He will be sorely missed by so many.

Prayers from the Pilotte family

Fritz played the piano for our Kalamazoo Bible Study Fellowship group on Monday nights. He was so accomplished. And I had Fritz in a couple of my discussion groups as well. I could ALWAYS count on Fritz to have a response - AND they were always so deep and insightful. I know Fritz is in the arms of our Savior and now with a perfect and imperishable body. But I'm going to miss him. God's speed, Fritz.

So sad to hear of Fritz passing. What a wonderful person always had a smile on his face ,and so friendly. The last time we saw him was in Meijer store he just happened to be in Lafayette on his way to Indianapolis to a bible study group. He come rushing over to say hello to us. We always appreciated that. Most of all I want to thank Fritz & Beth for their kindness to our son Terry and family. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
