Cousin Fred was always the practical joker. I recall when I was about 6 years old our family cat received a gift from the Newschwanders family cat. it was a dried up desiccated real rodent,beautifully wrapped in foil. We came to understand it was found when aunt Margret got a new dryer. Our cat kept up the gift-giving for another Christmas.
