Not sure what to say?

Dear Fred ~ Seeing your photo and reading your bio makes me remember what a funny guy you were in our CRHS class of 1969. I remember you really liking to play tricks in class and having a good laugh about each one. I did not know that we have a special connection; both born in December 1950. Probably the only 2 in our class with that description. To this day, I have found it hard to find friends who were born just in 1950, so I feel your spirit as we are December babies that year. Rest...

Thank you for your loving comments they mean a lot to us. Alice, Nick & kyle

Oh, so very sad to hear of Fred's passing. Immediately brought back so many memories of high school and Fred's clowning around in the classroom. I remember him fondly from those past school days. So glad to see that he had a full life and followed his passions. Know that you were loved, Fred. My sympathy to his family.

Many good memories from long cross country training runs in high school to backpacking many trails and peaks of the Cascades. Buying acreage next to each other for moving to the "country" North of Lewisville when that was way out there. You and Alice built there first, Patty and I followed later. It was great to be neighbors as our young families grew!
You were there to help others. I remember you and Kyle bringing a load of firewood for our wood stove shortly after I had my stroke and I...

Fred and I went through boot camp and military schooling together. Two young guys that had no idea what we were getting into. Fred was a great guy and a good friend. Sorry for his passing.

Weather permitting we will make it to the service. So far the gorge roads are open. Our prayers for all of the family. Love to you all. Janet & Darold

I will miss Freds greetings and political sense of humor. We shared many stories together every time I saw him at Fred Meyers or Lewisville Park. I especially liked Freds commentaries when we served in the Natl. Guard together or surviving the 60s We thought so much alike. My deepest sympathy to Alice and his family. Going to the store wont be the same anymore he brightened my day respectfully Bruce Barker Battleground
