PALMER, FREDERICK C. JR. "RICK" 44 - of Wildwood, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011 at the AtlantiCare Reg. Medical Center in Atlantic City. Born in Abington, Pa; he was raised in Villas and Wildwood. He graduated from Wildwood High School in 1984 and was a member of the Warrior 50 Alumni Organization. He also attended St. Thomas Univ. in Miami, FL. Rick was a truck driver employed by Crystal Springs in Egg Harbor Twp; and also previously drove for Wildwood Linen Supply. Rick was affiliated with the Greater Wildwood Little League where he volunteered his time coaching, umpiring, and participating in field maintenance. Rick served on the Wildwood Planning Board from 2001-2002. He was an avid sports fan of all the Philadelphia sports teams. Rick was an organ donor and saved eight lives with his generosity. Surviving are: his "roommate" of 11 years Patty Pluta; his four children: Samantha L Palmer, Frederick C Palmer III, Nicolas J Palmer, & PJ Palmer; his mother Regina Guest Saller; and his father Frederick C Palmer Sr. Also surviving are his four sisters: Catherine Rose Rocha, Jennifer Ann Nolan, Cynthia M Palmer, & Regina Saller-Paskiewicz; six stepbrothers and stepsisters; and an extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Rick was preceded in death by his stepfather Howard C Saller. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at the Parish of Notre Dame de la Mer at St Anne's RC Church, Atlantic & Glenwood Ave, Wildwood, NJ 08260; where friends may call from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. The family suggests donations in Rick's memory to the Greater Wildwood Little League, PO Box 1212, Wildwood, NJ 08260. Nick, Rick, and Family,
I am at a loss for words. All I can say is that you guys were your dads life, and he was your biggest fan, never missing a single game or any school function. I will miss him alot!
