Not sure what to say?

I have a couple of handmade coffee cups that were made by Fred. As I was pouring coffee into one, I thought of Fred as I always do. So I looked him up. Such a terrible thing, lost to his family at such a young age. Fred and Ann rented a basement apartment from my husband at the time, Ron LaRosa, and we lived above them. Nothing but good memories, and I would like to express my deepest, most heartfelt condolences to everyone who loved him. This was a good man...

I've been gone from Chicago for more than a decade and I just found out about Dr. Purcell. What an incredible dentist and man. His sense of humor was amazing. I'm quick-witted, but some of the things he'd say surprised me and left me speechless! My thoughts go out to his family.

Dr Pucell was my dentist for many years. He had the best sense of humor and was very kind!

My deepest condolences to his family

The first time I visited Dr Purcell he took one look at my mouth and said "British teeth" He then gave me a prescription for 5mg of Ambien to cool me down for my next visit.
He was a fabulous dentist and a fabulous man.
And impossible to replace

On behalf of the entire Caldwell family, I would like to extend my condolences to Dr. Purcell's family and friends. The whole family from my grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, etc. saw him, or his father. Dr. Purcell was the only dentist I went to. I don't like going to the dentist at all, but Dr. Purcell always made it pleasant and made jokes. He was the family dentist and the best! Peace be with you

I am so sorry for the loss of Dr. Fred Purcell. He was a great dentist, father, husband, man and friend to all. We will miss him.

I am very sorry for the entire Purcell family, and Sandy and Fran, whom I got to know at the office. Dr Purcell was one of a kind-- a great guy with an incredible spirit, and I know there is so much more that I didn't know. I'm sorry I didn't make the services, as I just found out.

Sincerely,
Mike Connolly

My six siblings and I were patients of the senior Dr. Purcell and, as adults, continued on with Dr. Fred Purcell. Fred was a wonderful, genuine human being. His sense of humor was beyond hysterical. He will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know him. On behalf of my mother, husband, sisters, brothers, children and grandchildren who were all patients of Dr. Fred, our deepest condolences to the entire Purcell family.
With sincere gratitude for Dr. Fred Purcell's friendship and...
