I want to offer my deepest sympathy to the entire Read family. Fred will be forever remembered and in the hearts of those who knew him. There will always be a sense of his presence.

To Freds family I am very sorry to hear this. Fred was co worker of mine and he was a bright spot in our office. Remember that new smile!! I will miss you my firend and till we meet God speed..

I know I will still think I see you, Fred, out of the corner of my eye at every gathering. You'll be with us in spirit, I know. You were larger than life, a beacon of caring, and you were loved by so many. My deepest sympathy to your family.

I knew Fred back in the 70's . He was the most talented person...a jack of all trades..he was such a sweet, lovely person... a free soul... very kind... I was so sorry to see the obituary in the New York Times... my deepest sympathy to his family...lesley Darman
