To dearest Adele and family, My heart was so very heavy upon learning of the passing of Fred. He was one of the kindest man I knew. My father. ( Bob King) and my family loved Fred and you all. Fred always took time to check in on my dad throughout their lives. He was truly one of my father´s fondest friends. I pray God grant you all peace as your hearts are heavy. Dear Family and friends of Fred, I will truly miss Fred, we went to the gym together and later when he moved to Lancaster, we had breakfast together at the Diner. He was a great man and a joy to fellowship with him. Rest in peace my friend.

On behalf of Franklin & Marshall College, I offer our condolences on the loss of Fred Reed, Sr., Class of 1958, to his family and many friends. He was a remarkable educator, both in the classroom and on the playing field, and did so much to make the world a better place for others. His motto -- "Take what you have and run with it!" -- will be the message we use as our send-off for this year's graduating class.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
