Read MoreI only knew Fred for 3 weeks in 2006 while my mother was in hospital and he was her nurse. In those 3 weeks I could tell that he was the best nurse that my mother would ever have. He was kind and caring and from what I can see from these guest book entries he was as wonderful a person as he was a nurse. My sympathies to the family.

I was a frequent patient at Kennedy and Fred was my nurse on many occasions. He was definitely one of my favorites. I didn't build relationships with a lot of nurses but I did have a strong one with him. He was always concerned about my needs any made sure I was comfortable. I am so saddened to hear of Fred's passing. I am a student at Helene Fuld School of Nursing and I had clinical with Fred this past spring....he appeared so full of life and spoke so fondly of his boys. He was an inspiration to me on many levels and I am grateful for having known him. I send my deepest sympathy to his family. God Bless.
