Barbara, On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Darlington County Youth Home (now Billie Hardee Home for Boys), staff, and boys we extend to you our deepest sympathies and heartfelt prayers to you and your family. While I did not have the honor of meeting Dave, Jim and Billie tell me what wonderful man he was and how instrumental he was in establishing this organization.

May God fill you with His peace like only he can.

In Christ,

Wayne and Niki (Hardee)...

Dave was a good golfer. Not great but we always had fun together. He was okay as a singer. His bridge game was nothing to write home about. But, as a friend, there was none better.
We worked together to start the Salisbury plant and the Palmetto plant for Fiber Industries and I consider myself lucky to have been a part of his life.

My deepest sympathy for you Paul, and your family.

My deepest sympathy to you Paul, and your family.

Only having spent a brief time with David, The Hague family from Marco Island FL. felt priviliged to meet such a genuinely "nice guy". Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and Mrs. Barbara.

My husband and I consider ourselves lucky to have met Dave. We considered him one of the world's greatest fellows, and learned of his illness and death with great sorrow. Our love to Barbara and the rest of her family.
