Not sure what to say?

My condolences. I only met him a few times but enjoyed the talks we had. He will be missed, but not forgotten. He did some great work and will be remembered. As railroading was a passion we shared. Perry.

I was so sorry to hear of Mr. S's passing. He was my homeroom teacher for 4th, 5th and 6th grade at Grandview Elementary in El Dorado, and I was also fortunate to have his wife as my 1st and 2nd grade teacher. I can still see him running across the soccer fields with us at recess. I wish my children could be as fortunate as I was to have such a fine teacher. He was, without doubt, the most inspiring teacher I had; he challenged his students to learn, rather than making it easy for us. I...

I was blessed to have Mr. S as my teacher for the 4th, 5th and 6th grade at Grandview Elementary in El Dorado. He was by far one of the most influential teachers in my life. He was able to bring things we studied to life. The Discovery channel has nothing on how he could take a concept from a textbook and draw us into learning. Moreso than the things we learned in class were the things he taught us about living as a part of our community. Anyone else remember "credits" and around the world?...

Dear Lynda and children,
I was truly sorry to hear of Fred's death. He was a good friend and taught me a lot of electric railroad history. I especially loved to hear his stories of the days when he was a locomotive fireman on his beloved Pennsy GG-1s. Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted.

I had Mr. Sasovetz for 4th grade at Washington School in El Dorado in 1972. He was a very fun teacher. I remember him having a car he loved that he had a custom cover for. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

I was in his second grade class at Cessna Elemetary.
