Frederick J. Simpson, 64, Retired Vice-President of Research and Development for GlaxoSmithKline FREDERICK J. “Fred”, age 64, of Newtown Square, PA, formerly of Warminster, PA, died on September 23, 2011. Survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Georgina (nee Hamilton), his loving children; Dr. Shawn and Stefanie Simpson; Heather and Christopher Logue; his adored grandchildren; Samantha Taylor and Allie Nicole Simpson. Also his Sister-in-Law, Linda; his nephews Gregory and Brian; his niece Lori; and his brother, Gregory Simpson. The loving son of the late Frederick and Loretta (nee Halferty). Predeceased by his friend and Brother-in-Law, William J. Hamilton, Jr. Fred was a graduate of Drexel University, with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He also received many distinguished awards from the Wharton School of Business. Fred was a husband, friend, dad and super pop-pop. He was a “Gentleman”, a true family man and a boss with great integrity. Nothing brought him greater joy than spending summers with family and friends in Sea Isle City and with his grandchildren in Florida. If anyone knew Fred, he was a man who loved his tasty sweets. We would like to share a special thanks to Dr. James Kenning and Dr. Sandra Schnall for their continued support. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing and Funeral Tue. Evening 6-9 P.M. and Wed. Morning 8:30-9:30 A.M. at the D’ANJOLELL MEMORIAL HOME OF BROOMALL, 2811 West Chester Pike Broomall, PA 19008. Funeral Mass 10 A.M. St. Anastasia Church.
