SPICER, Frederick R. of National Park, on May 16, 2009. Legacy Fred was born in Philadelphia, were he met and married his 3rd cousin, Marie. He served his country proudly in the US Navy during WWII. He was a Mason at Kendrick's Lodge in Phila., and a founding member of the Forever Young at GCCC, as well as the Sat. breakfast Men's Group. Fred was a machinist by trade, but a craftsman at heart. Given a broken watch, he would always repair it, and often made a wooden case to display or store it. The humor and friendliness of Fred will never be replaced or forgotten by those who knew him. Family Beloved husband of 58 years to Marie Ada (nee Ruebeck); Devoted father of Patricia M. Hirshfield (Stan), Susan Spicer-Andrews, and Frederick, Jr. (Kimberly McBride); Loving grandfather of Carri Cupps (Michael), Jenifer Carlin, Joshua Andrews, Meredyth Carlin, Elizabeth and John Spicer; Adoring great grandfather of Jarrod and Gabriel Cupps; Dear brother of Charles, Jr. (Doris). Farewell Service Viewing Wednesday 9am-11am in the Gloucester County Community Church, 356 Chapel Heights Road, Washington Twp., NJ. Funeral service will begin at 11am. Interment will follow at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 240 South Tuckahoe Road, Monroe Twp., NJ.
