Not sure what to say?

My name is Robert P. Strange Jr, son of Robert Strange of Virginia (Florida) who was brother to Frederick Rea Strange. I am trying to reach out to my cousin, Frederick Rae Strange Jr, son of this Frederick Strange. Would you be so kind as to provide a phone number, email, or address for him or forward a message for him to contact me at [email protected], (484)787-9617, 137 Rose View Drive, West Grove, PA 19390? Thank you very much! Kind Regards, Robert P. Strange Jr.

Fred Strange sacrificed his time to help many Boy Scouts become self sufficient, honorable men. Being in Boy Scout Troop 68 under his leadership was a major factor in moral and ethical development in my life. Many of us have grandchildren now and those same good traits that were taught to us through his example are being passed to another generation. I will be forever grateful for his time and patience he gave to us.

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting him, his name is a legend in Troop 68. He is on our Scoutmasters List and must have been an exceptional man to have a legacy like that. Our deepest sympathy.

My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Strange, Rick and the rest of the family. I certainly remember the man who influenced me when I was growing up. As a Scout under Fred's leadership, I was shown what it was like to be a good and honorable man. The world is a bit of a lesser place for his passing, but his goodness will live on in the people he touched and influenced. I have no doubt he has gone to the home God reserves for all good Scouts.

My wife and I met Rea and Peggy in the 90’s when they moved to our neighborhood. They lived at the end of our street and as we found out later would watch over our children as they waited for the school bus. Later we began playing neighborhood bridge together. We always received a warm welcome when visiting Rea and Peggy. Rea had a strong handshake and a gentle heart. He will be greatly missed. But, I take comfort knowing Rea is in the best of hands.

Rea was a friend for 60 years. He will be missed. He, Peggy, J.M. and I shared many wonderful memories and New Year's Eves.
