Fred had eight nices and nephews by his brother Glenn and Alice Stuart, and six nices and nephews by sister Mary and Earl Holton.
Fred and his family moved from Royal Oak to a farm north of lapeer when Fred was approx. 9 years old.
After graduating high school, Fred worked for General Motors for a short time then Bostick Foundry.
