Not sure what to say?

This evening at 8.35 PM my grandmother, Winifred W. Stunt joined her husband, Fred Stunt, our grandfather in death. We are saddened and weep, but rejoice in the fact that the two of them are now reunited. We are all richer for having their example.

I did not know Fred Stunt, but I have often heard of his reputation as a gentleman, and his impact on the Bellmore-Merrick Central HS District. As the President of the Bellmore-Merrick United Secondary Teachers, I want to add these words as evidence that his work here will not be forgotten. My sympathy to the entire family.

A memorial service in honor of Dr. Stunt will take place on Saturday, September 13th at 3.00 P.M. at:

Aycock Funeral Home
505 S Federal Hwy
Stuart, FL 34994

The door was always open for me when I needed you, which was quite often over the years while in Florida. Your unconditional love, wisdom, and kindness will stay with me forever. I miss you very much.

I am going to miss you terribly. You were a great great-grandfather to me and a man with a long life. You were a very generous, sweet, nice, caring, loving, and good man. Once again, I am going to miss you and all of the things we did together and all of the things you did for me. I love you, Kate.

With sincere and deepest sympathy, to the entire Stunt Family. Although you will miss him, you can always celebrate a long and happy lifetime of memories. From an old student, and classmate of Barbara. Betty(Blank) Schade

My condolences to the Stunt family,
I was a junior, class of '56 when Fred took the principal's chair. He respected the students and had our respect in return.
It was a breath of fresh air for us when his team assumed leadership at the school. In particular for my bunch at the margins of school life.
Education needs many more with his talents & skill.

The deepest sympathies of my wife, Arleen Wolsiefer also class of '56 & myself. Two of the many thousands of students whose...

Go gently is a phrase Pop would often use. It tells us so much about a man who was so caring, gentle and thoughtful. He was one of the most inspiring people I have ever had the privilege to know. The thing I will remember most is the way Pop shared a story and how he would make you feel you were there living it with him. He has touched so many lives and we are all blessed to have been part of his. Go gently Pop…I love you.
