Bruce &Sharon with Fred & Brick at Reagan's Wedding

Fred is undoubtedly one of the finest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Fred was "Almost" my Father in Law... From the day I met him in July of 1967 I immediately liked Fred and quickly grew to love and respect him. Always friendly, kind and affable, he was easy to love.
I immediately felt part of the family as he and Brick treated me like one of their own. Fred was (and quick) wit. I was immediately included in family tradition and educated in the ways of family humor and...

We had a wonderful meeting in Nice, France with Fred and Brick some years ago in the 80's or 90's. Our condolences on Fred's passing.

What I will always remember best about Fred - or Mr. Suhler as I called him years ago - was his passion for life. He and Brick were a dynamic couple who always greeted me with warmth, smiles and laughter. I truly hope the family will be comforted by the special memories they shared and accept my deepest sympathy for their loss.

Dear Brick, I have fond memories when you & Fred along with Ellen & family came to our home for homemade pizza & then off to roller skate, many years ago. Do you remember? :) You & Fred were always ready for something! Which was wonderful & amazing. And you were the last couple on the dance floor at Reagan & Mark's wedding, as they counted up the matrimonial years ... awesome. I am so sorry for your loss. You both were very, very blessed to have each other for so long & do the things...

Dear Ellen and Family,
We are so very sorry about your Dad/Grandpa. We hope your faith and time will ease the pain.

Our prayers are with you.

Love,

Ellen and family,
You've been a dear friend for over 40 years. I have many fond memories of the Suhler household during our junior and senior high school years. You had a wonderful father/grandfather. Wishing all of you my deepest sympathy. Love, Cindy

Fred Jr and family-sorry to learn of your loss. You are in our prayers.
