I worked with Fred while assigned to Western Wayne Narcotics. Fred, or as we called him "Sweet" was a dedicated and professional police officer who took his duty seriously but with a sense of humor. Sweet assisted me when I came to WWN and helped me learn my way around. But there was more to Sweet than police work. Sweet was an avid hunter and I remember talking to him about hunting and fishing, and even a trip we took Kensington Metro Park to view the deer - he would have like to see...

Sorry to hear of Freds passing. Grew up with Fred in Lincoln schools. A great young man than, A Great man lived. In Gods eternally kingdom.

So sorry to hear of Fred's passing. I remember playing basketball with him a lot of Sunday mornings at Belleville Highschool with all the Little Caesars softball gang. He always had such a bright smile and positive attitude about life. My heart goes out to his family. Rest in peace Fred.
