What an honorable man. I didn't really know him as well as I thought; but after the memorial service, we all now know he was more than we ever imagined. His presence around the church will be missed. Bless his family and may they always feel him near.

I knew Fred for over 25 years and will miss him coming into the church office or seeing him on the church campus and around the Lake Morton area. The celebration of Fred's life yesterday in the Chapel of First UMC was a tribute to a very gentle and kind soul we all knew, respected, and loved. Harriet Mayes
