Frederick S. Townsend Jr.

Fred and I were business partners in four different businesses over a 30 year period. We brought different strengths to those businesses which made for a strong partnership. Fred was very intelligent, hard working, pun loving, and a sports fan extraordinare. We attended NCAA basketball championship games together and even a NY Yankee game. My great uncle, Ferdinand "Ferdy" Schupp pitched for the NY Giants when they played at the Polo Grounds in NYC. Around 1916-1919 Ferdy won World Series...

Offering my deepest condolences to all the family. Fred can be described as one of a kind; intellectually as well as in describing his humor. His life was full and well lived. He now rests in peace.

What an amazing life he had, boy he kept himself busy, great writer who wrote this. well done. it was interesting both wife's 32 years, now how weird is that. I don't know family or him. My prayers to the Family at this difficult time.
