We refer to him as the Senator. He was the consummate southern gentleman. A sharp wit and a good old boy attitude made him very entertaining to talk to. We will all miss him. Jeff, Angie, Marin and Holly (the west coast Miners).

Libby, Diane, Bill and family, Dede called to let me know about Uncle Fred. I was sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Uncle Fred as always smiling and joking with everyone at the family reunions and Christmas parties when we were growing up. Keeping you and family in my prayers. Love, Debbie Vaughan Johnson.

"He had a kind and loving heart, the world is a lesser place without him."
