My condolences to the Weichel family. When I decided to join the Army Reserve in 1983, it was Mr. Weichel who swore me in at the Santa Rosa Reserve Center out on Finley Ave. He was a real nice guy.

Please accept my sympathy in Fred's passing. He was one of my favorite people. During the 1980's and 1990's, I was the volunteer coordinator at the Hall of Justice and Fred was one of the best. He was always "up" and always pleasant and took a real interest in every department. He also gave tours to school age children through the Sheriff's Department. His daughter, Connie, came to work for the Court's during this time and he loved to tell us how proud he was of her. He will be missed.
