DR. FRED ZUSPAN AND KEITH WALKER DECEMBER 1983

June 24th 2009

I owe this man my two son's lives. He delivered them early due to complications due to gestational diabetis. My father Dr. Luther Keith and Dr. Zuspan were great friends and my father convenced me to come to Columbus to Ohio State and let Dr. Zuspan deliver them. He was a most kind and compasionate man and I owe him my sons lives....I will never forget his caring and gentle ways...My deepest sympathy to the Zuspan family. My parents Helen and Luther Keith have since...

Dr. Zuspan was a sensitive, empathic, and caring doctor. I was fortunate to have him as my doctor 18 years ago when my son was born. My son, Ross, may have been one of his last deliveries. He was out on medical leave and returned just in time to deliver my son. After the birth, he would come into my room to sit and chat. He was definitely a unique doctor, taking time to listen, answer questions, and tell stories. I have thought of him often over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with...

Dr. Zuspan was chosen as the first inductee of the North Union Local School District’s Hall of Pride in Richwood Ohio. He reminded me, with a smile in his voice, that he, and other Marine...

Dear Zuspan Family,

Our sincere sympathy in the passing of Dr. Zuspan. We gratefully acknowledge his service to our country so that we may embrace the freedoms we have today.

Sincerely,

Dear Mrs. Zuspan and family,
Over the past 28 years, my husband, Jim, and I have remembered Dr. Zuspan with a smile and deep appreciation. Dr.Z delivered our twin daughters, Abby and Sarah, on August 14, 1981 at OSU. I've never forgotten his advice: take them home and raise them as two separate kids who happen to share the same birthday. We tried our best to so.
He was,of course,a gifted physician.
Just as importantly, he was an observant and caring human being. ...

Dear Mrs. Zuspan: I am so sorry for the loss of dear Dr. Z. We all love him so much as we do you. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Jane--Condolences for the loss of your husband, & my friend. Fred was a Hero, Husband, Wonderful Dr.to a multitude of grateful patients, and all around good guy.
I am truly honored to have been considered to be a friend.

Dr Zuspan believed in innovation and openness in research. He was the ultimate example of a great teacher and should be immulated . He was a wonderful mentor and good friend of my family. I will miss him. Jason H Collins MD - New Orleans , LA
